River & Wren Market COVID Safety Guide

The wellbeing of our traders, our staff, our customers and the wider community remains River & Wren’s highest priority as we return to Wagga Wagga after a prolonged absence due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

We are a Covid Safe event and have prepared a Covid-19 Safety Plan that outlines comprehensive measures to comply with government health advice. A condition of our return is that we comply with NSW Government Health Orders and you will notice some changes to our December Christmas Market.

Please note that in accordance with the NSW Government's Health Orders, only fully vaccinated people (16 years+) can attend our Christmas Market and you will be required to show your Vaccination Certificate before entering the market. Children under 16 years of age who are not fully vaccinated can attend the market with fully vaccinated members of their household

Ticketed Event

We are required to adhere to a customer capacity that will limit the number of customers who can attend the market at any one time to ensure social distancing is possible. In order to manage this requirement, our Christmas Market will be a ticketed event and a small Entrance Fee will be charged to offset the additional costs of hosting this market.

Save Me a Place Tickets can be pre-booked (recommended), or ýou can turn up on the day of the Market.

Save Me a Place Tickets

With a Save Me a Place Ticket you have a guaranteed entry to the market at your chosen time without having to wait for entry. Tickets can be booked for an allocated entry time and you can stay at the market for as long as you wish. You must provide your ticket (digital or paper) as proof of purchase and an entry fee is payable when you enter the market.

  • Entry payment on the day: $2 per adult, children under 16 free

  • Entry times: 10.00am, 11.30am, 1.00pm

Purchase on the day

Tickets will be available for purchase on the day of the market.  Customers will be required to queue for entrance to the halls and will be allowed into the halls in a controlled manner to ensure our numbers remain below the customer capacity.  There may be a slight delay but we hope to allow everyone into the halls as quickly as possible.

  • Entry payment on the day: $2 per adult, children under 16 free

Both the market halls will have dedicated entrance and exits to allow us to monitor the number of people in the halls.

Market Cafe Seating

Due to the restrictions, we will not provide seating in the Food Hall.  We hope to be able to bring back our tables and chairs at future markets.

QR Code Signing Into the Market

All customers are required to sign into the Market using our CovidSafe QR Code.

We’re all used to this by now:  if you do not have a smart phone, we will have staff available to assist you to register your attendance on our devices.

Vaccination Certificate

In accordance with the NSW Government's Health Orders, only fully vaccinated people (16 years+) can attend our Christmas Market and you will be required to show your Vaccination Certificate before entering the market.

Children under 16 years of age who are not fully vaccinated can attend the market with fully vaccinated members of their household.

Wear a Mask Indoors

In accordance with the NSW Government's Health Orders, all people in NSW over the age of 12 are required to wear a face mask indoors unless eating or drinking.
